Can anyone tell me why PS2 backup disks are in black and white, i am using these with a new chipped console after my last one was stolen with games.

they are black n white cause you need to use an rgb scart lead £2.99 at hmv (anything up to £15 anywhere else)

I have one. it has the the 3 seperate coloured lead from the playstation which plugs into the small scart connector that goes into the t.v. this was supplied with the PS2
Is there a different type i need to buy.
