I read the rules and guidelines and it says i can't talk about piracy. how strange I thought, Never the less, I said to myself "I simply must post this topic":

I have got almost every single game on the playstation 2 and wondered if any of you kind souls would be willing to supply me with a few backup games just on the off chance that my originals explode or something.

I would obviously supply the person with a token gesture of my appreciatiation, money for example.

Thanks for reading.

EDIT - I REALISE IT IS ILLEGAL AND THAT I AM SCUM

WE ARE NOT HERE TO HELP PEOPLE AQUIRE PIRATED MATERIAL! If someone already has the material in their possession then it's alright to give them whatever help they need.

No more asking for help getting pirated material. Do it again and you're gone.

I guess I understand...

I was just wondering. I meant no harm. I hope you can understand that I am a good person and all I wanted was some advice.

No harm in wondering but offering to pay for backups isn't something we want on our boards. Instead of paying for backups you should buy a burner and get into backing them up yourself. It's a cool little hobby to get in to :)

Yes. you raise some very good points. I can only apologise.

I think I should give it a whirl but my problem is that I never find good games to download. All I see is madden 2009 and crash bandicoot 700.

I like rare games, top down shooters and the like. Plus, I'm absolutely diabolical at technical things like that. I have tried to burn CD ps2 games about a million times but never even come close.

I will try again though.

Oh, and once again, I'm very sorry.

No need to apologize.

I rather like the thread title because it'll probably attract a fair amount of newbies and they'll get the answer they need before starting a potentially hazardous thread :)

Stick around, read some guides, ask questions and you'll be backing up your games in no time.

Thanks!

Out of all the moderators I've come across, you seem to be the most pleasent and diplomatic. It's a breath of fresh air when you consider that most of them are just on some kind of power trip.
