Burning CD rips to DVD

My GT3 disk went missing, and the only way I can replace it is with a cd rip off the net. (Yes, I know GT4 is coming, but I want to go through GT3 again and raise money before GT4 arrives:))

The question is, can I burn a cd rip and run it from a DVD? Reason I ask is I've got a dud batch of CD's and only have DVD's right now.

just go rent it. Its more trouble than its worth trying to get your DVD-rip (thats what it is, not cd-rip) to dvd.

Trust me, if I could, I'd rent it. Sadly, all the local places are out. And I ain't paying $30 (the only one I can find locally) for a game that is obsolete come Feb 22nd. (The now official Sony date in the US.)

And I meant DVD rip. DOH!:)

I should have also said I can't afford to buy any more blank CD's:) Hence the DVD question. (I've got 75 dud CD's here.)
