at a guess i would say the are version 5(both).however
th 3001 v1 maybe a version 1,so for the that i would use dvd-r,just in case
dvd+r will not work on the version 1
it is likely they are both v5,but i have not seen the code 3000r #v1 before

dvd-r will work on ALL PS2 VERSIONS

dvd+r will work only on v5 and above, some v4 will read them however.

if you are not sure what version your ps2 is,just stick to dvd-r

the reason people use dvd+r instead of dvd-r(v5 and above)is because they can.however, dvd+r for versions v5 and above, are said to read much better for games that read constantly off the disc.
for example....normally games will load a section of data.this is fine.however somes games are constantly reading off the disc(gta san andreas is one of them)
people who have used dvd-r for these games have found they may freeze,jump,whatever....to get around this problem,it is better to use dvd+r as the ps2 reads them much better.
i personally have always used DVD-R on my v9 and have never had a problem.

my advice is use DVD-R....and for any games that read constantly off the disc use DVD+R.(only if you have v5 and above)

ALWAYS USE GOOD QUALITY MEDIA.

with kind regards hursty
