I have been looking into getting a flip top for my ps2 and using swap magic.But before i buy the stuff i have burned a game with dvd decrypter on a maxell dvd-r. I started the game with the original and after it started and got into the game i switched the dvd's. when i try to get it to load it would just go to a black screen and stay there. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that method would actually work, why would you buy SwapMagic discs and a fliptop lid?

you need a mod-chip or boot discs to run backups.

i read on this site that a boot disc is only used to start the game, hence the name. if this is true then why can't you use the original game to start it then after it loaded put the backup in. thnx for replying and sorry if this is too stupid.
