so i'm working on backing up my dvd's now and i've run into an error when trying to back up the matrix and the bourne supremacy.....does anyone know why i would have problems with these dvd's and how to fix the problem....thanks

There are new encryptions out that only DVD Decrypter or AnyDVD can decrypt. These started showing up around December. Get the latest updated versions.

i just started doing this with dvd dycripter last week........also i just checked for updates and it says it is up today.......any other suggestions?....i'm in the process of backing up a dvd now but as soon as i'm done i'll put the dvd in and see what error message it is.......thanks

for the matrix it says

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file E:\
Invalid access to memory location

that happens when i'm trying to open the disk...it won't allow me to go any farther than 7% on the opening

and then for the bourne supremacy DVD Shrink just dissapears and never comes back..

any help would be appriciated

and also......i'm doing matrix reloaded right now and it is working fine
not sure why that would work and the first one wouldn't.....thanks for any help though

You can't use Shrink by itself on the new encryption. Either run AnyDVD behind Shrink or use Decrypter first to copy to the HD and then run those files through Shrink to get the size down.

It takes some time to get it right so don't give up. It was a little easier before the new encryptions came out.
