I AM A GRANDMOTHER TRYING TO FIND OUT INFO FOR MY GRANDSON. CAN YOU COPY X BOX GAMES AND WILL THEY PLAY IN ANY XBOX OR DO I NEED A SPECIAL PROGRAM

No, they won't play in any xbox.There is no single progam that will allow you to copy games or make your xbox play copied games.
There is built in protection within the bios of your xbox that prevents it from playing unsigned code.When you modify your xbox, it bypasses the retail bios and runs a modified bios when it boots.
