Hi,
I just started burning ps2 games, therefore I just bought
a plextor px-716a dvd writer and upgraded the firmware to 1.04, I searched on this forum and other sites (cdrinfo.com)for wich dvd media is considered the best.
Then I bought 100 Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 8x Silver(TYG02) dvd's and burned the games at 4x with nero and dvd decrypter (they wouldn't let me write at 1x or 2x), but
the games work perfect.

But when I checked some dvd's with plextools, the writing quality wasn't as good as on cdrinfo.com and cdfreaks.com. Below is an example of an pif/pof sum 8 check I did using the plextor writer:

especially the quality above 1.5 is worse than other tests with the same writer and media where the discs where burned at 8x or 16x

it isn't a big issue, but how is this possible?

And, 1 more little question: with nero, first comes lead in, then writing, and then lead out
but dvddecryptor doesn't say anyting about lead out?
