It's been awhile since I've dropped in here. And I feel so stupid that I've come back to ask a totally noob question. Damn if I didn't forget how to take a screenshot of my desktop. I don't need a screenshot of my desktop pic per se. But I need to take a screenshot in general. A quick response would be helpful.

Thanks thecraigc. I knew I had to hit the print screen button but forgot what to do after that. I thought a popup screen was suppose to appear after I hit the print screen button but there wasn't a popup screen. I went to paint also but forgot what I had to do to pull up the screenshot. It turns out that I didn't need to do a screenshot but I still can't get over how something so simple was forgotten so easily. I think I need to enroll back into the Afterdawn remedial classes again.lol

This is mine:

I like to keep things simple. I'm willing to go to the menu bar for everything.

Mike.. defrag your drive, then use partition magic to resize the windows partition. (or put a spare drive in) Then install ubuntu and when it asks to install a bootloader chose lilo... simple. Your machine will then boot to a menu with linux and windows.. Chose which one you want.
hint Make a small fat32 partition as well then you can share files between the os's
