What's happened there? You've got the syntax right, but it hasn't shown the image.

Creaky: The picture of Poltergeist there suddenly made me remember the parody of it that Family Guy did. "The exit is Meg's ass?" lol

ryan1515, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP. yours is 191,694 bytes not 50k as per forum specs.
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.

This isn't my own desktop but it's virtually the same as i'm using at the moment on my work's laptop with a brilliant new Linux livecd i've stumbled across called 'TinyMe' -

Main PC ~ Intel C2Q Q6600 (G0 Stepping)/Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3/2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500/Zalman CNPS9700/Antec 900/Corsair HX 620W
Network ~ DD-WRT ~ 2node WDS-WPA2/AES ~ Buffalo WHR-G54S. 3node WPA2/AES ~ WRT54GS v6 (inc. WEP BSSID), WRT54G v2, WRT54G2 v1. *** Forum Rules ***

Hey creaky what are the names of those programs you're using? The toolbar and the sidebar names would be appreciated. That is gnome isn't it?

it's all built-in to the distro as default. "TinyMe is a PCLinuxOS-based mini-distribution. It exists to ease installation of PCLinuxOS on older computers, to provide a minimal installation for developers, and to deliver a fast Linux installation for where only the bare essentials are needed." - it's only a 200mb distro, go snag it here - http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=tinyme

i really like it a lot..

It does look pretty sweet creaky. Would it be a good distro for a Linux beginner wanting to try a dual boot setup?

i haven't bothered trying the install on TinyMe as it works so well from the cd. plus i've got no room for any more machines :P

By far my favourite distro that can be easily installed from a livecd is PCLinuxOS -

I'm going to give TinyMe a shot and see how it goes. I tried Ubuntu with the LiveCD, but my desktop choked on it and wouldn't run. It ran just fine on my Laptop though, but I heard wireless setups with Linux were more than a PITA.

I have been trying PCLinux from the live cd and like what I have seen so far! Plan on installing soon as I get the time.
