it freezes at the wraning screen. using mcc media

Sorry to ask, buy what game is DMC? And we need more info. on this. Answer these questions and we will be able to help you out more efficiently.
1) First off, what version ps2 do you have?
2) Are you using a solder or no solder modchip?
3) What software are you burning the game with?
4) What speed are you burning the game at?
5) Are you using +R discs or -R discs?

yeah it's devil may cry
i'm using a v4 35001gt ps2 with fliptop and SM 2.0 (DVD) and 3.0 (CD). i'm using dvd decryptor to burn them at 2x using prodisc dvd-r (media id: mmc) and 2.4x tdk dvd+r (media id: ricohjpn).

I know this sounds stupid, but press "X" at the Warning screen? Let me know if this works?

yeah i press "X". it boots but it freezes at the "warning this game contains gore" screen
