I know that some PS2s will play burnt DVDs. Depending on what drive they used in your PS2. Not all drives will play burnt DVDs in PS2 but I have only tried DVD-R and DVD+R not DVD-RWs

It does play DVD-Rs, but I'm pretty sure it does not play DVD-RWs.

mine doesn't play RW's or +R's, but there is 12 different versions of PS2, so yours might be different.

versions 5+ should be able to play rw. movies that is. ps2 games won't work on rw disks.
