Your burn speed was too fast,
and you used cheap media.

you will this will be happening more and more as
the games get older and more used.

There is a reason why everyone suggest burning at 1x.
And using quality media.
I guess now you understand why.

i burn all my games at 2.4x on cheap media and all works

read here and see what speed most people use.

Oncheap media the dye will fade rendering your backup useless.
Think about this ps2 games are pressed exactly by machines
(They are NOT burned).
If you dont burn your backups slow so that all the
information is processed correctly games will freeze and lockup.

if you dont believe me i can find lots of other members that can share there experiences also.

this game wasnt burnt by myself :)
and check here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/casey.miller/HD%20Loader%20Compatibility.htm

comfirmed crashing on lvl 20 and has nuthing to do with the media coz thats on a hdd ;)

ps higher speeds doesnt make any major diff , friends of mine got games 3-4 yrs old and stil working fine

its only with ace 5

the burning at higher speed was bad for psx not ps2
