I recomend that you use Nero instead. Just choose the copy disc function and follow the prompts.

yea seriously,

There are 3 main programs that people use.

1. DVD Decrypter
2. Nero (latest version if possible...6.3 or something is what I used)
3. Alcohol 120%

I've done a test with Streetfighter EX 3 (cd) on all 3 (plus Nero 5.5) and each game turned out fine. For ease however, I tend to use DVD Decrypter just because it seems so straightforward and reads so many different formats. For example, I just learned about GI Image files last night and only DVD Decrypter read mine successfully.

Certain file types you have to research up on. BIN, CUE, ISO, mds, etc...it's a lotta stuff but read the BIG posts on how to burn and you should get an idea.

With luck, if you have a file that's got an ISO extension and is big (over 1 gig), chances are you can just do ISO Write with DVD Decrypter and it'll be fine. Select lowest burning rate (although I've been doing 4x and 8x) and make sure your DVD-burner works with the right type of DVD (- or +).

Read Afterdawn.com like maad and you'll probably find what you're looking for. I just posted a question on reading PAL games with my NTSC console, but 5 min later, I found the answers on an older topic in this forum.

Hope this helps.

DVD Decryter.

hands down

Read disc to make and ISO file

Write the ISO file to DVD-R

Job done

If the file is too big - you can't back it up
