so im trying to play some legal backups with gameshark.

now, i downloaded de dvd loader via emule. it just says psd dvd loader, im not very sure if it is the real thing.

anyhoo, i tried burning it into a dvd (cuz its a DVDloader) and my burning software told me that it cannot be burned into a dvd-r, but i had to use a regular cd.

is that so?

questions...

where do i find the dvdloader ver7 (in other place than ps2ownz)

aside from the gs/ar trick, what is the purpose of this dvdloader thing?

what media im supossed to use when i burn a dvdloader?
if the answer is a dvd, what software(s) should i use?

my setup is as follows: i got an usa/ntsc ps2, a gameshark ver 4.1, swap magic discs.

im asking because i searched in the site, but there is someone with the keyword dvdloader in his signature, and it was very difficult to track down info in this matter.

and i also forgot to mention, i DID burned the dvdloader image into a cd-rw, but my ps2 is not recognizing it...

dvdloader has to be swapped after swap magic,
and is nessasary for some games to run.

why not get a slidetool or fliptop and save yourself
the hassle.

you can download dvd loader from here: http://members.cox.net/candrid2/index.html
open it with winrar, drag the iso to where ever you want it, and burn it to DVD.
