Ripping main movie only w/ DVD Decrypter in file mode

cAn Decrypter be set up to rip the main movie and not the exrtas.

I tried to set the file selection on start up to main moive but the resulting files can not be opened with Shrink.
What am I missing?

You can use DVD Shrink in re-author mode to just rip the main title.

Yes but I hear tell of Decrytper just ripping a select number of files. When I have tried the files look good but Shrink will not load them.

What kind of error do you get opening with DVD Shrink?

After opening DVD Decrypter, click on TOOL Menu on top then SETTING then FILE MODE. Under SELECT FILES, make sure you select Main Movie+IFOs or shrink will not load your movie. Selecting just Main Movie there gave me the same problem that you have experanced.

After you ripped files to HD, then open DVD Shrink and instead of clicking on OPEN DISK, click on OPEN FILES. Should work fine for ya from there on out.

You are all getting this error because you are clicking on "Open Files" in Shrink. There is no need for this just click on "Re-Author" in Shrink and browse to where your files are on the HD... No need to rip the IFO's as long as you open the files in this manner.. :-)
