Would anyone know why I can play my backed up ps2 games but I can't play backed up DVD movies ? I always get a "Disc Read Error" when ever I try to play the DVD. They work fine in my computer and the original movie works fine in the PS2. Is there a special format (Best Results) for burning DVD movies so they are compatible with PS2. My friend's PS2 plays movies fine. Mine can play everything but backup movies.
No I'm not trying to load it with swap magic. I am just trying to play it like a regular movie except it is a backup. It does not want to recognize the backup movies for some reason. And when it does find them, and I try to play the movie in the title screen, it will say "Unable to read disc". The back up games play flawless on the PS2 though and I am using the same media to burn them on.
