Question for those brains out there:

I am using a new Slim v.12 PS2, less than 2 weeks old.

I have Swap Magic 3.3 DvD/CD's for my 'Modchip'.

I have backups of PS2 DvD games on 1x speed burnt (Nero 6.3 version, burn to image, then to DvD-R).

DvD-R Movies that have been backedup (using DvD Shrink) all work just fine.


The backups load not at all, or in the rare loading cases, take about 4-8 minutes to load the first screen. After this first load, the average load time is 4-6 minutes per screen. When the backups actually load, the video is staggering and about 1-2 FPS.

What's wrong do you think?

I don't see how if some games load, though slow running, and some games do not load, and yet still ALL DvD movies run just fine... how is the Nero, DvD Decrypter, or any other program will be less effective than another??

Anyone that is actually able to make working backups have a bit of advice or 'setup' they use to make backups work more often than not?
