i do not understand what i am doing wrong!
dvd burner> aopen
Dvdshrink
dvddecrypter
blank> 4.7gb single layer
1. open dvddecrypter and set to iso read
2.put video i dvd burner
3.save movie to hd ( destination path noted )
4.use dvddecrypter> set to iso mode> read
5.I open dvdshrink > open > disc image and select iso created in step 1
6.after opening iso and after dvdshrink previews the iso file i hit backup and put in another file i created in my documents.
7.i open dvddecrypter and chose iso >write
Now this is where i have the problem. it will not let me open the files ( which i created in my documents) doesn't matter what drop down i use iso, img,all files selected files it still will not open them so i can burn movie. moopster

when you use decrypter try using file instead of iso and then in DVD Shrink use open files instead of open image.

Your step 6 confuses me a bit. First, it appears that you are trying to copy the entire ISO. How big is the ISO?
Second, I don't know what you mean by "and put in another file I created in my documents." It sounds like you are trying to add something. Is that what you are saying?
Then, step 7. You say you are trying to do an "iso>write" with DVD Decrypter with files that you "created in my documents." What format are the files?

why dont you just rip with shrink?,burn with decrypter?
or is it a dvd that needs to go through decrypter first?

i followed all the steps to burning a dvd from 1 to 7.
when i say i opened a file in my documents it was an empty file that i used to store the iso file that DVD Shrink produced for burning.

sorry to keep beating a dead horse but maybe this will help.......
This is what i did.........
opened DVD Decrypter and set mode to iso > read
inserted dvd movie into dvd burner
saved iso to hard drive and noted destination
used DVD Shrink to reduce move to less than 4.7.gb's by opening dvd shrink
i went to file then to open disc image and selected the iso i created in dvd decrypter
after opening the iso, DVD Shrink previewed the file, and when it was done i "hit backup" and
chose a path to the "empty folder" i created in "my documents" when it was done doing its thing...
I then closed DVD Shrink and opened DVD Decrypter and set it in "iso write mode"
i then inserted a dvd + r blank in burner and went to my documents and selected the folder that
i had chosen in my documents..... this is where i have problems.... i couldn't open the iso, that i saved
no matter what i tried as explained in an earlier post...... frustrated as hell, moopste
