The 100 pack TY at Supermediastore is currently selling for $35 (4x). But I am hesitant to buy because they don't come in a cakebox and according to the description they are version 2.0. What in the hell is a version 2.0?

Anybody had experience with these discs? Not TY in general but this in particular. Is that like the Grade of the disc?

Also, Rima and others don't sell the 4x anymore because they say that they were discontinued but now Supermediastore and Meritline are selling these. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm wondering the same thing. Is supermediastore a reputable place to deal with?

supermediastore is supposed to be reliable, but i use rima only for my TY discs

i don't know if i would trust where these discs came from because TY quit making them several months ago

i have thought about emailing them to see what the story behind these are because apparently they have been setting somewhere for a while :)

Supermediastore is reliable, I have ordered TY discs from them before and they arrived right when they said they would. They even have a map that shows how long it will take for your package to arrive at your home. Reasonable prices, accurate shipping and good customer service. Highly recommended.

This is what shows up on DVDinfopro. I compared this to the old TY 4x I got from Newegg a long time ago and they match perfectly to the dot.

Thank you for your inquiry.
It looks like some manufactures are illegally using our media code. If you are looking for small volume and like to be sure it's ours, please contact our direct distributor Disc Makers. www.discmakers.com *Ultra series
These are the only ones TY will say is theres http://www.discmarket.com/items_by_Cat.aspx?item=DVD032-00004 I am not sure what thats all about, but that is what I got back from them in an email? The really wierd thing is these dont advertise TY anywhere? Here is TY's contact cnakatsuka@t-yuden.com maybe someone else can get more info from them?
