Hi,
I have recently got my PS2 Chipped and have burned some games.
I have now downloaded a few games which use a differnt file format. I usually use DVD Decrypter to burn the .ISO Zip onto DVDR disc but now have come across differnt file types and need some information on how to burn them and the software requied to do so.
The first game uses: (filename).001 - there are a number of these file going up in number in the folder.
-and .SFV Files
The second type file uses: WinRAR archives and .r00 files
If you can please help out.
Thanks for your help

You should be able to unRar both sets of them.
-For the first one, try to unRar the first one. (either .000 or .001)
-For the second one, try to unRar the first one as well.
I'm assuming that it will unRar an .iso image file for you from both instances.

Hi,
thanks for that. when you say unRAR them, do you mean just extract them?
If so what software am i supposed to use to extract the files in the first game and second game as it comes up that it cannot be opened -please specify program to open with .
For the second game should i try to unRAR the first .r file or do you mean the zipped file?
thanks

1)Run Winrar - Default location C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe
2)Go to Options-->Settings-->Integration. Uncheck the ISO tab and hit OK.
3)Use the program and navigate your hard drive for the first game that you downloaded. Find the file e-bout3.001. Right click on it and select Extract to the specified folder. Find a place where you would like to extract the .iso file to.
4)Use the program and navigate your hard drive for the second game that you downloaded. Find the file par-wwesvr...r00. Right click on it and select Extract to the specified folder. Find a place where you would like to extract the .iso file to.
5)Use DVD Decrypter to burn the images to a blank dvd.
DVD Decrypter is available at:

Winrar is available at:

Hi,
Thanks for the halp mate. One last question, the first file starts off at .001 so thats fine.
The second game file start off at .r30 so do i need to extract the first zip file then carrying out the step you mentioned on the extracted file which should be .r00?
OR
Do i need to extract all the zipped files in the folder then carry out what you said?
thanks again for helping

From what I can tell, the second game is Paranoid's release of WWE: Smackdown vs. Raw. The release is named WWE_Smackdown_Vs_Raw_USA_PS2DVD-PARANOiD. According to the NFO is has 50X50 MB RARS. So the files should go from:
par-wwesvr.r00
..............
..............
par-wwesvr.r50
Quote: The second game file start off at .r30
So, if your first file is .r30, you are missing the first 30 RARS.

Once it's finished, take one rar (try the .r00 file). Right click on it and select extract here. This will extract the .iso file. Burn the .iso file to a dvd-r using DVD decrypter and play the game on your modded ps2. Only do 1 extraction.
.r30 - .r50 are the same as .r00 - .r29. Your computer has not associated .r30 - .r50 as winrar archive files, but you will still be able to extract without any problems.
