On mod chips in general is there a function on them that you can reset? so you can watch movies, as i was informed that this was my problem since my ps2 does not play movies anymore.

Depends on the modchip you have. You need to put it into sleep mode. Most are done by holding the Reset button for 5 seconds when turning on the PS2. If that doesn't work, post which modchip you have.

Thanks that worked kinda it requires me to do it a couple of time inorder to play the movie but good enough for me lol. Oh and by any chance would u know how to take off the parental control? i tried the 744 thing but it didn't work and when i'm in the set up i won't let me do anyhting to the parental control thanks
