Has anyone successfully backed up NBA Street V3 and been able to play it using Swap Magic? I tried backing it up with DVD Decrypter and the game won't move past the load screen. I also tried the Isobuster/Cdvdgen method since the game is originally about 4.5 Gigs When I use Swap Magic with that, the Deuce made some sick noises. Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?

There's a fix available... That doesn't really tell me anything. Can you explain what you mean by that? And why do I have to boot the PS2 with a TOC like NFL2K5 when I am using Swap Magic? Anyone else out there have a better solution?

Yea, I am copying from the original disk. I'll rerip it from the disk and see if that does the trick. Tyrich: the Isobuster/Cdvdgen method I was refering to is considered rebuilding. It didn't work. Thanks though.

I'm having a little problem with the cdvdgen part. It says in the tutorial that the files from the iso need to be in the same order as they were when the iso was broken out by isobuster. How crutial is this? Also, what constitutes the correct order? After isobuster broke out the files into my new folder, they were not in the exact same order as they were displayed in isobuster's file menu. Anyone understand what I'm saying?

Ah... yea, I went to that site, but I didn't have a login yet. I found the zip fix, the lovely thing is that they make you wait five days before you can download any files. Any ideas on where I can get it sooner?

the files have to be in order or else it wouldn't work. Open iso buster with game in the dvd drive, and then open cdvgen and just put them in the same order as they appear in iso buster.

For those who used the patch and worked.... Did you guys apply the patch to the rebuilt ISO (using cdvdgen) or to the original iso (4.7G)??? I applied it to the original iso and when I played it, the system was going way too slow. Please help.

This is what i did i found this in another forum and it worked perfectly!!!
Try this method, I found it in a Blood Rayne 2 thread. I tried it last night and it works. Its also alot easier. Credit "Sixman".
This is exactly what you do to burn NBA Street 3 for the PS2.
You only need TWO programs for this simple method.
1. You need Nero Burning ROM 6 (latest or new) & You need ISO Buster (latest ver or new) That's all!!!!!
2. First you use ISO Buster the newest version you can find.
3. Then you copy all of the contents of the NBA Street 3 into a folder of your choice.
4. Now all you have to do is turn on Nero Burning Rom and select the DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) Option at the bottom.
5. Now once youv'e done that you simply just look for the option were it reads at the top tabs UDF and put a check in the "Force DVD-Video Compatibility mode.
6. Now you follow through with the usual naming of the game in the Lable tabs (not required)
7. Next you click on the New button and then select each of the NBA Street 3 folder contents (left click and hold) and drag over to the Root of the CD Icon located in the top far left of the Nero window. Make sure you put them back in the exact same order as they appear on the original game.
8. You will see the bar at the bottom of the Nero window rise to a certain MB size. (Just about 2400MB to be exact)...
9. Now you just BURN it, and your done!!!!!
I hope this helps, IMO its way easier than the other method.
