I'm tryin to back up ps2 games for my son, who needless to say is wreckless w/ them.

Using DVD Decrypter i ISO>Read.. then ISO>Write

I'm using sony DVD+R DVD's and Memorex DVD+R DVD's
tried them both. Neither seem to work. What am i doin wrong.

Also using flip top w/ swapmagic3.3
At the Load Program Screen i insert the BURNT game and it says "Not a valid PS2 disc"

I even tried burning at a slower speed (4x)

Is the problem the DVD+R DVD's
Should i be using DVD-R's ???

And if i do use DVD-R's... can i burn em using my Burner that is labeled DVD+R Rewriteable on the door???

Please Please Respond. I've spent hours on this. Thanks Soo Much

Try using ritek Go4 discs (dvdr-), that should do the trick. Works fine with a version 7 ps2 and swap magic 3.3 for all my backups so far

If your burner can do -R discs give them a try, they always work for me. You will have to read your manual on your burner or get the model # and look online.
If not you could always upgrade to a Sony DRU-710A which you can get at Dell.com for around $100. It will burn any kind of discs including the new dual layer. I have last years model DRU-700A and love it.
Figure it this way, if you save yourself from having to replace 2 $50 games then it paid for itself.
