Lesson learned!! Set read speed to low rate too!

Hey guys, I know I did a noobie thing but I cannot stress enough how important it is to set your read speed to 2x at the most when backing up. I have a NEC 2500A burner and using Ritek G04 DVD-R's. I backed up my games with DVD decrypter using the default read speed and most of them turned to coasters. I burned them at 2x speed too. The thing is that when i backed up my games, I would just test to see if they loaded fine. It wasnt untill I started to play one that I found out the errors. They would freeze and constantly have long load times in the PSTWO that I have. I even tried backing up the backups and dvd decrypter would spit out a read error message. I then backed up the same games at 2x speed and they all run fine now. Just wanted to vent my noobiness and let everyone know.

I mostly get Coasters or Dodgy Copies when burning at 2x :S
I find it SO much better to burn at 1x with Ritek GO4's
Guess The PS2 Is picky..
