hi evertone
yes it is me again the anoying guy lol
i burned your software onto a cd-r all boooted up stright away but i just cant get it to play the stuff it will only let me go into the config and then when i have done that it says 'save failed' in the top let screen.
need some help please.

hi
thanks for the help i will give it a go when i get home later.
i have got a ps2 memery card in slot 1 so i will go through what you sed and see how i go on i will probs need more help as i am preety thick when it comes to stuff like this.

moby, you may have also noticed that the info for doing this is included in the read me.
Kinda funny huh? Why would anyone provide informastion WITHIN the actual software provided that includes common problems and how to fix them??
Seems others may have had this problem already......15 pages of posts maybe ARE NOT just all people saying "thank you" after all! Go figure huh!!

I tried to do this, but once the ps2 independence installer screen shows up i get this
ERROR: Unable to open destination file:
TILE.DB
Any suggestions on this, i search and found no referance to this at all.

anyway next question my roms wont load i think i downloaded them wrong they seem to be zipped up
any1 give me a site i know they are gona work..

againm this has been talked about before.
1) make sure they are the correct extension for the right emulator
2) Unzip them. Snes supposedly can play them even if they are zipped, but why add another potential problem
3) make sure you are trying to load them from withtin an emulator and NOT from launchelf (others have tried before)
4) make sure you are trying to load the right rom in the right emulator.

i sused it out soon after i posted my last reply works gr8
full respect stinky.
any1 thats says this is crap like i have read in some other pages you are all wrong
wt i have done is when i burned the cd i left it open so i can add other roms at any time on the same disc...
lots of hard work has gone in that boot disc so full respect to stinky..

more or less yes
when you burn the disc there should be an option to leave the media open and then you can add more files when ever u wish until the disc is full let me know what software you use i will help you if u want. i use Nero and it is very very easy to do.

i wasnt sure either but it worked so it is rli handy coz i can just add more roms to the disc when ever i dowload new 1's well worth it.
ooo and also i have a problem
when i go to play the roms they are in black and white....im from england btw PAL.
but all menu's and stuff is in colour.
so when i load my swap magic up i select it to PAL instead of normal and then the games are in colour but then i get no sound..
can any1 help me out here thanks.

hey stinky
i was just searching through ebay 'UK' in the x box games section and there is a guy selling xbox boot discs AKA plays old classic games using emulators mega drive n64 snes nes gennis etc more or less the same as yours.
and he is selling them for £10 each and they are selling preety well why dont you do the same with your disc because there is no1 doing them for the playstation atall i have searched and searched and no1 doing it for the ps2. not as though it isnt ready you have cases and disc covers etc
and also you can earn some money.

I didnt program ANY of the .elf apps for the PS2. They are all freeware. And part of the user agreement states that you wont charge any money for them. SO if I was selling disks I could get SCREWED very easily by ANY of the authors of the apps.
Not to mention the rom legal issues, but that is more minor.
Also since launchelf requires you to setup the apps first to a MC I would need to sell it with a MC that was pre-setup with launchelf. Otheriwse I would get idiots that cant figure out how to set it up. If you dont beleive me just read through this thread and see how many HERE couldnt follow the instructions.
My ORIGINAL plan was to make launchelf boot the menu info OFF the cd as well, so NO memory card was needed at all. But it is not coded to work like that. It needs the MC to work.
About the PAL with black and white issues.
Go into settings by pressing TRIANGLE ( in snes emu) and then click on video mode. CHange it to "FORCE PAL" or "FORCE NTSC" depending on your TV set and country. It will make ALL the roms work for that region perfectly.

not gonna happen on the N64 emu front. Not until we are half way into the next gen consoles at least.

hi every1 , i really need help , i downloaded pc games off limewire pro and i opened them with win rar and loads of files r there and i dont no what 2 do, i tryed burning them 2 disk but the game doesent load up , plzzz help!!!!!

you want updates huh?
I have been pretty buisy lately. Also I lost all the contents of my computer. I had an update almost ready but then lost it all. I had re-written the README's and stuff.
As far as files go and eveything I think its pretty much done now. There isnt much left to do.
Just watch for new PS2 apps.
About the sound, it skips on the snes emulator if your settings are too high. I have mine set to mono sound, this makes it run much smoother.
