Stinky... How come you are charging for the disk now. What happened to all the legal issues?

you know what? ever since I changed the site to charge money for the disk I have not had ONE question about the disk or how to set it up. Some people have purchased it and I have not had any problems with them not knowing how to work it.
SO far my life has gotten much esier.
As far as legal issues go, they are still a concern. Thats why I added this line
Quote: **prices for the disk are used to cover the cost of hosting, bandwidth for downloading, and tech support. They are NOT to pay for the app's included on the disk or to be applied towards their use. Everything on this disk can be made on your own through freely distributed software found on the Internet.
Really the price that the person is paying is barely covering my time for one support question. Not to mention that my ISP does not give me the internet for free. It costs money to host and supply downloads. The boot sequence on the disk is original to me. I made it myself as well. SO I guess I Have a right to lend those rights to others through purchase. I also make this disk fully availible for free on my site still, and all the free software I have on the disk can be downloaded by others just as easy as I did it. So by rights I feel that I could (should) not be considered as "selling" the apps on the disk.
I hope that is the way it is viewed. And if any of the authors of the apps on my disk are reading this and wish for their software to be removed, they can let me know and it will be done.

Download the Swap magic 3.3 ISO from here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/zxspeky/sm3dvd.zip
I don't understand why do people Charge money for cracks????, when they are themselves taking away the business of others.
Any ways I am not a gamer, one of my friend has a PS2 and he was telling me that it costs you money to get it from the internet, I had a bet with him...and here you go I am sharing it with you all too

uh, newb, wrong thread buddy.
and uh, other retard, why would you download a swap magic cd? if you need the swap magic it means you dont have a mod chip. and if you dont have a mod chip you cant use a burned copy of a swap magic disk.
but thanks for coming out!

If you go the beggining of this thread it has a step by step of exactly how to do what I did.
But people are too lazy, or to incompetent with computers to figure it out. Thats why I charge for it. People that put in the effort can have it for free. People who dont put in the effort can pay me for my effort!

Hmm just read it, wow lazyness runs rampant, I personnal use PS2menu, and i have gotten all my elfs to run off a boot Cd. I have been on your site and i donot see the nego emu as part of your elfs. Also most of the problems other lazy people have can be sloved with cdgenPS2 software, the trick is to FIX the LBA value in cdgen. Boot cds work great if u are willing to read, now i just need a ps2 controller that has reset so i donot have to get up everytime :)

I dont know what YOU can do. I know that I can!
There are MANY threads about running it off a disk and what you need. Why dont you read them.

well... im happy to finally come to undesrtand how the process goes to run custom elf files on my ps2...
unfortunately, what i discovered is not so nice...
my ps2 DOESNT run them...
I used ARMAX to test USBADV.ELF and USBEXTREME.ELF and when i select to open them, it looks like if its gonna load the app but it doesnt...
(at least for those 2)
I've tested with 5 diff apps so far
USBADV.ELF - FAILED
USBEXTREME.ELF - FAILED
MCFORMAT.ELF - WORKED
HDLOADER.ELF - FAILED
PS2LINK.ELF - FAILED
im really bummed... well not bummed.. actually confused... cuz if it was that it couldnt play ANY elf file at least I would know where to look but this way i honestly dont know what happens..
anybody with a clue on whats wrong here???

You can't download a PS2 boot cd. In order to boot it, you need a modchip or an original boot disc ot boot it. A PS2 will never read copies EVER (unless its a dvd movie, which I'm not sure about).
There's nothing I hate more than people who don't take advantage of the search function. SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST YOU NOOBS!!!
