VIDEO_TS file has .ifo and .vob files

i have a VIDEO_TS file on my c: drive. i can burn it to a dvd-r. the folder VIDEO_TS contains 1 .ifo file and 4 .vob file.... if i make iso with this files and burn it to a dvd-r, then would it work on a dvd player?... folder, VIDEO_TS does not have .bup file. would it work if i burn this to a dvd-r?...plz help me.
