Flux for solder smartxx2 please help

I plan on soldering my smartxx2 today and I just wanna check and see if I need flux for the solder to stick or if I just heat the D0 point will it work find the pin headers are already soldered in place so I just have to do the d0 and the ground wire solder and i'm good going to buy a soldering iron wires and solder what brands type size's do i need thanks for all the help

RadioShack 15Watt soldering iron wil do just fine.
