I have 2 cdrw's (one is also an external dvd-rw-plextor). Both will burn, but neither will read anything! Took it to a guy to fix it, said my drivers were missing for the cdrom's but I go into my device manager and both are there. But I did see that my Communications port, microsoft systems management bios driver, and 2 sis 7001 pci to usb open host controllers drivers are all missing (or when I look at them, they say "not digitally signed"). I have no idea what's going on and I cannot find any of these crazy drivers online download! I have WIN XP. Here is my guess, if I could just fint those usb controller drivers maybe it would fix them all?? I am thinking if they are missing then maybe the whole plug and play thing isnt working? I have no idea, I am just guessing here. Seems like nobody knows how to fix it either LOL I tried driverguide.com, nothing there either. Can anyone help me? I am really starting to hate XP...I have had so many problems with drivers all of sudden becoming "deleted". Thanks for any help in advance!!
