This is what happens when I try to make ISO DVD Image:

When I put the original PS2 DVD-ROM (EA manufacturer) in my DVD-Writer, it keeps spinning for several minutes with blinking LED, and when it stops, both DVD-Decrypter or Alcohol 120% say "disc is empty".

Can anyone explain what can be wrong?

Thanx.

Try leaving your disc in your PC, and then shut it down, and then boot it back up. This usually works for me.

Not too sure about that one. Try ejecting the disc and back again! then hit the copy icon/picture again in DVD Decrypter! see if that works! have you try just ignoring that and just using the program to start to the process off?

The option to open and close just start the 6-7 minutes scanning again.

Ignoring the "disc is empty" doesn't help, because neither DVD-Decrypter nor Alcohol 120% allow any operation further.

I will try the reboot option with DVD inside later on, when I arrive home.

I will let you know, guys.

Thanx.

Hi guys. I finally realised the problem. It has to do with the brand of the DVD reader/writer. Mine is a Toshiba Samsung (TSS-...whatever).
At work, I can make use of an HP-DVD420i, and it reads perfect the original games.

Now, when I run A-Ray for scanning it gives the following meassage:

"[12:29:20 PM] LibCrypt/PSX signs found
[12:29:20 PM] --- File(s) Scan Finished [0.01s] ---"

Is it a kind of protection, that demands a chosing a specific type in Alcohol 120%, or DVD Decrypter is just enough?

Thanx.
