socom 2 is a dvd game. The cd version you seen is a dvd rip, which has stuff taken out so it fits on cd.

what kind of stuff taken out?like moviesd,cutscreen or missions?
i am downloading the new game devil may cry 3?it go a dvdrip and a full dvd.which one should i download if i wanna play the full game?

extras like demos etc, maybe movies, i don't think missions are cut out. It also depends on what mod you have. If you have swap magic, you will probably also need breaker pro to play dvdrips.

dude couple of days ago u gave me the dvd utility disc u remember?i make 2 online backups by patching them with dvd utility disc and image patcher,then when i try to play the splinter cell 2 backup online it says error (-864).am i missing something here?

nope, i gave up. There was also a patch i used (don't remember if it was for online or not).
