Conversion - ISO to Video_TS and Audio_TS

Hi
I wonder is it possible to convert ISO files into Video_TS and Audio_TS automatically when you burn the DVD-R using the nero?

Can I watch DVD-ISO in any DVD player? Or I need to convert from ISO image to Video_TS and Audio_TS?

ISO's are cd/dvd images. If it is an ISO of a dvd, then it probably has the VIDEO_TS folder in it. You then just need to burn it to a dvd. Any good burning software will recognize an ISO image and burn it.
But if you do not really know what you have, you need to figure out what you have. I use WinRAR to "open" ISO files and see what is in them. There are other programs that can do the same, like isobuster. Get one, and see what's in the ISO. If it is a VIDEO_TS folder, then just burn the ISO to a dvd.

Hi
I have trid to burn my DVD-Video and I get the message box:
DVD-Video files reallocation failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue?
How can I iron this bloody problem out?

need to find out what you have! ok, use ISOBUSTER or ULTRAISO and extract the files inside to your HD
then let us know!
basically you should have ifo/bup/vob inside a folder called VIDEO_TS spelt like that! VIDEO_TS

Also what program are you trying to burn the DVD with? You just may be doing it wrong is why I ask. You should be burning an ISO or image is what most software will ask. Not a DVD video or something like that, but a disk image or ISO

Hi
I have used ISObuster to check the content of ISO files and there are Video_TS and Audio_TS so I have tried to burn it on my DVD but the problem appeared (please check my previous message above - DVD-Video files reallocation failed).
Should I use DVD decrypter?

so you extracted the files and burnt the VIDEO_TS and not the iso, audio ts isnt needed!
also whats inside the VIDEO_TS folder? do the vobs play in powerdvd ok? does the whole folder load to DVD Shrink ok? for testing?
will dvd dercypter burn the iso?
how big are the files contained in the VIDEO_TS folder?

Im back Rotary...
I have used DVD Shrink to open the Video_TS folder and i received the error:
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
"Invalid data in file .........\VIDEO_TS\TS_01_1.VOB"
So how can i fix this problem?

ok, did the vobs only and espacially the vob
1, TS_01_1.VOB play ok? in powerdvd?
2, also was it spelt like that? should be VTS_01_1.VOB
3, did you try burning the iso in dvd dercypter?
4, how big are the files contained in the VIDEO_TS folder?
5, list all files and file names please...

Here's a good one for you. Nero has an emulator (a virtual drive). The freeware app Daemon is another good emulator. Load the ISO file in the virtual drive and see if it will play on your player software. You open it just as you would any drive, you use the drive letter assigned to the emulator. If the ISO plays, then go on and open the virtual drive in Nero, Shrink or whatever and then record the files as you would record a DVD.
WinRAR can extract the files in an ISO into a folder with Audio_TS and Video_TS. Most often the Audio_TS is an empty folder (audio for DVD movies is usually in the Video_TS folder). An ISO file is simply a big file with everything in it and the Video_TS is a folder with the individual files in it. Once recorded the player reads the files irregardless of whether they were recorded as ISO or Video_TS. I've recorded both ISO and Video_TS and the standalone players handle both equally well.

Hey guys
I have finally burned my ISO files into DVD-Video files (Video_TS and Audio_TS) in my DVD using the DVD Shrink software and it works on my DVD player. Thank you for your brillant helps

What I did was to open the image files using the DVD Shrink and it didn't encounter any error. Then I put a blank DVD in my DVD device and execute the burning process by clicking the green arrow buttom. When it finished, I opened my burned DVD, it consists of Video_TS and Audio_TS. I tested it by playing it and volia it works on my computer and my dvd player :-P

Strange you were having problems. Shrink will open either ISO or files, as well as a disc. It should have been able to open the ISO; after all, it was the same files. As you may have noticed, the output can be either ISO or files. Glad to see you got it going.

Sounds like he may have gotten the Decrypter and Shrink buttons mixed up. As long as the right one got pressed, I guess all is well.

This appears to be exactly the place to raise this issue. I have been ripping DVDs to ISOs using DVD Decrypter successfully. That is, until I encountered the very recent Ray. I appear to have all the files, but when replaying the ISO file on VLC media player it freezes on the PG13 rating. Another equally recent film works just fine.
