Hello I am authoring video to DVD-R. I encode my avi with cucusoft and burn with adobe encore. My problem is that I am making dvd's with subtitles emedded in the picture and when I go watch it at home the dvd subtitles are cut off. The subtitles are there but the picture is too big. Is this the encoder? Oh yeah I checked to see if it was adobe encore's fault so I used the generic "sonic my dvd" to author the dvd and the same problem arose so I am want to know if I am doing something wrong.

Many programs let you set the desired display outputs (e.g. fit to screen etc.). Use those both for the encoding and burning.
