Ok, I have been encoding copies of dvd's using DVD Shrink 3.1 and copying with 123 Copy DVD. I am not very advanced in the copying of DVD's, as I have stuck with what works for me, instead of taking a chance of updating the programs and not being able to use them. I am at this time looking for a program that will work with DVD Shrink 3.1 that will copy to cd-r's. I must also say that I am cheap and need a free or cheap program to do this. Please help...Thanks...

Hi hap99,

I think you're asking to be able to rip a DVD to a CD - is that correct ? If it is, may I suggest using the following -

DVDCopy3, http://www.intervideo.com , is a good retail app. They have a trial. It's easy, but you'll need to get over the cheap part as it is retail. It's also one of the best for DVDs. DivX is another good app for recording DVD to CD. Check out the DivX/XVid section here at AD.
