all the software to flash the xbox is free you just have to know where to get it, check the tutorial section at xbox-scene.com for more step by step information.

i have xecuter 3 and everytime i try to update bios, it says no bios found.. how do i install bios for my xbox with a disk?? what do i put on the disk? the screen says "flashing mode install disk into cd rom", but the xbox picks up no update. how do i make bios disk?

i finally made the disc correctly using a memorex cdrw...i loaded the bios and the xbix turned off, when i press power, it goes back to the flashbios screen again. what do i do?

Hey guys. I'm a complete noob so bare with me... I have a v1.0 xbox with a X-chip installed. Do i have to get a new bios? if so where can i find one? Also i need help getting EvoX (bios and/or dashboard).

KoRnut, to get that stuff check out #xbins on mIRC. mIRC is a program that allows you to access the bios and dashboard for the x3. If you need help, pm me and I will give you my screen name and help you out, step by step.

When i do it it flashes but then when u try to watch a dvd or put music that u burned, it just says the same shit that it says without the chip on.
Can some one help me.
P.S. i used m8plus.

hey im haveing the same problem with my x3. where did you get the bios2914? the only one i can find on xbins is 3029.

2914 is the old bios, why not go with the newest 3029? It is the best bios out yet, and I have tried both the 2913 and 2914.
