Creating DVD from AVI to DVD using dvdsanta....

Whenever I try to encode a movie from AVI format to DVD using dvdsanta then I go to play the DVD on the player it skips. I use maxell dvd-r media and a magicone dvd burner. The weird thing is it only skips on heavy scenes where there is a lot of action/moving parts. Anyone have any idea why this is

I've used DVD Santa and never had a problem. Try using DivX to DVD v0.4.9 to convert the AVI files then burn with DVD Santa. Now you can tell if it's the converting or burning that's giving you trouble. DivX to DVD is in the software section.
