yeah i use 2.0 and i get that same "insert ps2 game disc" after i pick single player or multi player. it's not our discs (taiyo yuden 1x thank u!). i've had this happen with many games and can't fix it.

even using dvdloader and a high toc dvd switch (dunno why i tried it as snowblind is small but it has worked with other small games) it still doesn't work.

I have swapmagic 2.0 and mine works fine. Here is what I did to make this and all other DVD backups work properly. This is a sweet game, IMO better than Halo 2.

1. "Acquire" the image of Project Snowblind.

2.a)Burn the image to a DVD using DVD decrypter (any burning program will probably work).
or
2.b)Mount the image with Daemon tools.

3. Make an iso out of the DVD (or mounted image) you just burned using Alcohol 120. Remember to check off the box that says "Skip Read Errors".

4. Burn the new image with DVD decrypter (any burning program will work at this point)

5. Boot up as you would other backups.

I don't burn it to 2 discs, I mount it with Daemon Tools first. Burning it to 2 discs is one way of doing, hence why I posted it.

i hate halo and halo 2. y does everyone love it? hehe not planning to start a flame war just my opinion too. i really want to play snowblind and instead of mounting the game just rebuild it as this works better for removing dummy files. i always do that and i don't feel like doing it again and possibly wasting another disc so i'll wait till other forums or this one post a solution or confirm that this method works.

Anyone else having a problem patching the DNAS code into this game? When I scan the file I get this:

Image File 'C:\SLUS_21037.MDS' (1 part, 1698Mb, 2048 bytes/sector).
The following files have been located for possible patching:-
DNAS300.IMG;1, IOPRP300.IMG;1,

Then when I click Verify Version I get this:

ERROR: The Image File is not DN*S enabled or uses an unsupported version!

and I can't click on anything. I made the image with DVD Decrypter and it does this whether I try to patch the ISO or MDS. I am using PS2NFO.COM Image patch tool ver 1.6.

Thanks in advance.

whats "mounting the image" do. Ive seen the option but I don't get it. The problem with this game is when you try and load from the memory card. If you play without the card it'll boot fine.

Mounting the image is playing the game image from your hard drive like there's a disc in your CD-ROM drive.
