i borrowed mercenaries from a friend and burnt it using dvd decrypter. wen i put it in my modded slim line ps2, it runs much slower. does anyone noe any program to make it go faster? by the way, the original copy runs much faster. and it does'nt freeze, but the copied one freezes all the time.

sounds like a bad burn, bad media or a combination of both. There wont be a program to speed it up, but there are lots of things you can try - try burning to both +r and -r, at the lowest speed, switch to a lower-speed media, change the writing program, etc.
