Hi,

I have recently purchased Cucusoft Converter Pro 5.08, and have read differening reviews.

I am trying the create a DVD compatible *.mpg from an *.avi fle. The problem is each time I do this the audio and video are out of sync.

Having read a couple of threads I have tried doing this with no other programs running, but to no avail.

Thanks Rotary,

As I have paid for this software, I would rather get it to work than have to purchase more software. Its not just DVDs that this issue applies, it al think so happens when I try to create VCDs.

Do you its to do with certain options I have not set?

i think these 2 are free... divxtodvd or dvdsanta

and these get demo versions mainconcept or TMPGEnc plus

not sure if mainconcept is free?

it could well be settings? most on here use dvd santa and divxtodvd for avi's!

I contacted CuCuSoft support and they replied quite quickly saying to install a previous version, which now works great.

thanks for your advice anyway
