Has anyone used this product and could they please help. The preview windows within the program say "cant render preview image" has anyone got any ideas.

Which Procoder are you using ? No doubt you know that this professional software has an excellent support dept. -- It comes with the price they are asking for their software.
We are using Edius Pro 3 at our offices ! we get excellent support from :-

None that I know of !! you cant compare commercial editing and authoring software which cost 1000 's used in studios to give you the imaging created for Spielberg. As for the ease of use ~~ smiles ~~ we have specialist that are trained first before using it.

Canopus Procoder is an mpeg encoder, not a filtering/editing application.
Try Vegas, Pinnacle, or Premiere.
Black holes are where God divided by zero...

Basically the dvd's that i download arent perfect quality so all i want is a program that will help me to enhance the quality of the dvd could you reccomend a particular program.

Garbage in, garbage out.
You can't improve what's not there.
You can do some filtering and such, in the programs I already mentioned.
Try Vegas, Pinnacle, or Premiere.

I'm having some trouble converting movies for a 4:3 format (full-screeen).
When I use DVD Santa, selecting 4:3, the films appear full screen, however it isn't the hightest quality converter and sometimes the movement appears stilted.
Canopus Procoder produces excellent quality films but the 4:3 format which I select makes the movies appear the same as if I had selected 16:9 - a thin strip in the middle of the screen.
I'd prefer to convert using Canopus (as DVD Santa also puts chapters every 3 mins making it impossible to fast forward through "slowly") but how can I configure the settings to produce full screen. Previously I've had no problems but recently all the conversions I do come out looking widescreen
