hiya ne1 know how 2 patch [REMOVED] i use every patching prog like windip 1.7 but it just says ERROR: The Image File is not DN*S enabled or uses an unsupported version.. any1 know a way??

You need to insert the ID from your original cd to the backup so you can play online. More info at http://www.ps2nfo.com

i can get passwords.. and 2 shine.. i have done that u need 2 open id prog up 1st then pick ur iso then u can change the id but it wont even let me open it it says its unsupported??

What exactly is your problem.
I downloaded the same game, and I burnt it DVD+R.
The game starts up, but freezes on the loading screen.
I have the PSTwo with the Red Plugs.
I know it works, because I got Devil May Cry 1 and Onimusha 2 to work. So I presume I have to do something in order to get Mercenaries to work.

Your best bet is to go with DVD-R's.
And are you burning at a SLOW speed yet a speed that your disc supports? Put in a blank DVD into DVD Decrypter and look at the left-side panel, look for "supported speeds" and burn at the slowest possible. I reccomend Ritek G04's as they seem to have the best success rate. ;)

And since my PSTwo supports DVD+R, I will use DVD+R, since I have so many of them.

there are plenty of posts here on Mercenaries and how to get it to work. There is a patch you will need.
Do a search.
I posted instructions in a post called Games that need special burning proceedures. I think it is somewhere in the general section about 3-4 pages back now.

I got the PAL version to work.
I didn't need a patch.
All I did was rebuild it and it worked. :)

hiya yer i know its easy too patch the game. am just saying some one above posted too u saying use the patch they posted. am just saying too them that the patch wont work. cos dvdricks patches only work in usa games. and were from uk get me :D

you are Half true.
The game Menu is in Spanish, all the Videos and all the talking while playing the game is in English.
So nearly the whole game is in English. :)
