i cant tell if the original game is cd or dvd. the colour is silver. just incase, the game is mercenaries.

it's probably a dvd since most ps2 games are. but to check, on the top of the dvd it'll say DVD-ROM; I don't have any cd games but I would imagine they say CD-ROM on them.

yeah, it says right on the game. It is dvd btw. Dvd's are usually silver and cd's are blue.

dvd discs, say dvd-rom right under the slus number (for american retail discs) and the backs r silver

cd discs, say compact disc under the slus number (again on retail american discs) and the back r more of a bluish-purple
