I've heard that there are places on the internet where you can download Dvd Video & Audio Files (VOB, IFO, etc) without having to download & convert Avi, Divx Files & whatnot. I currently have LimeWire, but all I can find are Avi, Mpg or Divx files, etc... Any information would be helpful. I don't have a problem going through the whole converting process, but if I can save time, i'm all for it. Thanx.

Why spend the 3-4 days to download it when it may not even work, or worse yet be something else?

Isn't it easier to just go rent it or get netflix?

Even with broadband, that's unusually fast. How fast is your connection?

I'm not doubting, but I agree with The baz.

600-700 kb/s, I guess it's possible. Where are you getting your movies from? My cable rarely gets close to 500 kb/s but that's usually for music files that are heavily seeded -- DVD-Rs usually aren't.

I'm on a Cable connection, but i'm talking about the movies that are already out in theatres, not out on Dvd. Dvd's are no problem, thanks to the help i've recieved here at afterdawn. But i'm just looking for movies still in theatres, with Dvd quality. Screeners, i suppose.

They are available on many torrent sites (are you familiar with these?) I haven't used them in awhile, but I'm sure LimeWire or mIRC, as Rushman1 stated, would have them as well.

Two torrent sites I like are
www.piratebay.org and
www.torrentreactor.net (neither require registration:P)

I know you said you're looking for them in vob/ifo/bup formats but I'd like to note that the odds of you finding an Xvid/Divx(AVI) format are a LOT better. This is because it can take days to download a huge DVD-R compared to a few hours for an Xvid/Divx movie. Anyway... my point is if necessary, knowing how to convert AVI to DVD could be very helpful.
