I live in Australia, if i buy a PS2 from America and play it in Australia and get my games from America (no mod chip) will i be able to play online games?

In Australia we dont get Madden online (so far), nor do we get NCAA Football at all. They are games i want to play online, would i be able to do it? or does there need to be a server available in Australia?

This may work but it is hard to tell, unless you know that the servers are worldwide, if they are then it probably will, but if not then the chances are it won't.
