I was curious if anyone has any experience with this software. I dowloaded the trial version as I wanted a simple way to convert my wmv files to be burned as a VCD. The trial version seems to be super easy to use with fairly good video quality on the VCD. The trial version puts a watermark across the screen of the finished VCD so it isnt aplicable for use, but more to just let you see how the program works. It costs ~$30 and seems worth it, but just thought I see if anyone else out there has some feedback regarding this product. Thanks!

So the reason it would burn the dvd but then not finish it is becuase i did not author it?

If I cant, couldnt i edit my mpg in the avs, convert ot mpg with the edit, then vonvert them to VOB files, then author them in DVD Shrink , then burn them in Nero?
Does divX offer editing options in the full verson?
Edit and convert to mpeg-2 however you like.
Authoring is the process of taking the mpg and making it into .vob's and the stuff you find in the VIDEO_TS folder on a dvd.
There are tons of authoring programs, from ReJig which will give a simple autoplay dvd, to DVDLab or Scenarist, which will give you the options to make menus, chapters, motion menus, and plenty more.
Once authored, you then would choose the DVD Video template in Nero, and burn.
