Hope someone can help....My Dad recorded from a VHS tape to a DVD-R on his Panasonic DVD recorder. The disc played fine for him. I tried it on my Panasonic DVD player and it shows the message "DVD is not finished" and it won't play. Any suggestions? (Be kind:)

If its not finalized,your dad can play it on his recorder, but it cant be played in a normal dvd player.

Sorry to be so dense, but does that mean my father has to use his dvd recorder and "finalize it"? Or can I do that on my dvd player(not recorder)?
