Hi!

I am trying to backup my version of "The Grudge" but it seems like there is some sort of a burning protection on one of the .vob files. DVD Shrink stops encoding at 13% and DVD Decrypter gives following message when starting:

- Possible Structure Protection Found!
- 7 areas have been marked as 'suspect'.
- Dummy sectors will be inserted where necessary.

It also cannot copy one certain .vob file. I have also tried copying the file manually, but it does not work either.

Is it some sort of burning protection? And can I do something to fix it?

Hoping someone can help!

Morten.

If you are using the newest version of Decrypter, you shouldn't have an issue, just let it run. You may want to use an RW at first for trial purposes. This topic has been discussed numerous times in other threads. Do a search for "Grudge" and you should find the appropriate answer you are searching for. Good luck friend. I have not tried this movie yet, wish I could be of more help!

MWA--
Make sure you have the newest version of DVD Decrypter--then put the movie through that first (BEFORE DVD Shrink)--then put it through Shrink (Open file rather than open disk)--I am attaching a couple guides to help--
