I have a mod chip in my ps2 and so far works great. Let me tell it was a muther to install, man those wires r small but i got it. I've been ready some of u have something call swap magic or swap disc or something like that. R they chips that r installed or something else. Just curious.

swap magic is a boot disc. You boot it, then swap for your backup. Its an alternative to a mod chip.
