Okay i burned tekken 5 with dvd decrypter
Read:iso
Write:iso
i tried burning at 1x but it always goes upto 4.1x
when i try to play the game it loads fine but EVERYTHING's loading times are extremely long.
anybody know what's wrong?

that would usually mean that the media you are using isnt that good or its a bad burn....maybe the reason why it burns at 4.1x is probably because thats the only speed that disc can burn at...what media are u using???

when u buy ur media, always look for speed specifications...
especially when ur thinkin of burnin ps2 games..
with regular dvd backups, fastest speed mostly works..
but with video games, more information and graphics...so u definitely need a slower speed to burn at
i use ritek 4x dvd+r personally....

no , thats just el cheapo dvddecrypter , it will displays speeds that cant be used , therefore it will automaticly burns at 4x (ur highest of that disc) . Also ive never seen a dvd+r that could burn lower then 2.4x.

I tried buring this game with DVD Decrypter and it wont work. I used a TDK DVD+RW, so could it be the discs that I'm using thats the problem rather than the program and the way I'm using the program?

It's the discs you're using...
I successfully burned Tekken 5 with DVDDecrypter at 4x and it loads fine.
I used Platinum DVD+R 8x.

okay, i used Leaddata DVD-R 4x
and Fujifilm DVD-R 8x
which media do you suggest i go out and get?

hey guys!
NEED some help aswell. Im using swap magic 3.3 and i've burned tekken 5 like 10times now. i used datawrite 4x discs and yesterday i brought a verbatim disc.
The datawrite discs take long to load even at the namco sign but the verbatim ones takes quick to load up to the namco sign but after that it takes long to load up to the actual game. PLease HELP!

im using bulkpaq dvd-rs 4x and when i boot it up with swap magic 3.3 it takes long to load at the namco sign but after that it loads fine. the thing im pissed off about is that u cant go on arcade history option (where u play the old tekkens)because it goes onto the ps2 sign saying 'please insert a ps2 format disc'. this also happens to gins devil story mode. does any 1 have this same problem?

rOcO... what are you talking about you've never seen a DVD+R burn slower than 2.4x? I have a Memorex 8x DVD-R and +R burner that I use Memorex and TDK DVD+R's burning at 1x all the time.

I finally got it to work after buying some Imation DVD+R's, however the game freezes up either when I use Jin or when I have to fight against him. Anyone know why this is happening?

err im sorry but do any of yous know where to to get Tekken 5 iso?
That is NTSC or PAL formatted?(preffer PAL MORE) can some tell me please

Yeah, you can get the ISO from the game... If your asking about downloading it then you are in the wong place.
